About this policy

BetIntel helps you review football fixtures, probabilities, AI explanations and your personal records. This policy explains how the app handles information.

Elviont Technologies, in the Netherlands, is responsible for the processing described here. BetIntel does not sell data, show ads or track you across apps. Apple handles payments. BetIntel is meant for adults (18+).

Information we handle

BetIntel may process:

Fixtures and selections

Fixture data and the matches you select.

AI questions

Questions you ask Scout, BetIntel's match chatbot, earlier messages in the same match chat, and the match context needed to answer. Chats are kept on your device only while the match is open.

Notifications

If you allow notifications: a random installation ID, your device's push token, the app version, language and time zone, the matches you star, Live Activity tokens, whether match tips are on, whether your plan opens new match analyses, and when you last opened the app (sent at most once an hour).

Pro checks

When you use Pro AI features, the app sends your App Store subscription transaction and an Apple App Attest proof, so the server can confirm the subscription and that requests come from the genuine app.

How information is used

Information is used to show fixtures, generate analysis, preserve your app settings, unlock paid features, answer support requests and improve reliability.

Notification data is used to send goal alerts and Live Activity updates for the matches you star and, unless you turn them off, match tips and reminders: kick-off reminders, BetIntel AI's strongest calls, a reminder to settle a bet and an occasional nudge after a few days away.

Under the GDPR we rely on: providing the features you ask for (fixtures, goal alerts, Pro features, Scout's answers); your consent for match tips and reminders, which you can withdraw in the app at any time; and our legitimate interest in keeping BetIntel secure and reliable (App Attest, request limits, diagnostics).

BetIntel is not a bookmaker and does not place wagers for users.

Storage and security

Most personal app content is stored on your device. Purchase status is verified through Apple StoreKit.

When support or AI features require server processing, only the needed context is used and protected with standard security practices.

How long we keep information: Scout chats are not stored by Elviont Technologies. Notification registrations are kept while the app uses them; when Apple reports that the app was removed they are switched off, and we delete them on request. For Pro checks the server keeps only a one-way hash of the subscription ID with its latest status, and the App Attest public key with a one-way hash of the installation ID.

Third-party services

BetIntel may rely on:

• Apple, for purchases, app distribution, push notifications and App Attest.
• ESPN's public sports feeds, for fixtures, scores, tables and club logos, and Google News, for match headlines. Your device requests these directly, so those services see your IP address.
• OpenAI, which powers BetIntel AI (the AI match predictions, the Ask Scout match chatbot and Tipster Pick). Predictions and Tipster Pick use match data only. For Scout, your question, earlier messages in the same match chat and the match context are sent through the Elviont Technologies server to OpenAI to generate the response, with OpenAI's response storage turned off. Elviont Technologies does not store your questions. OpenAI is based in the United States, so this information is processed outside the EU; under its API terms OpenAI does not train on it and may keep it for up to 30 days to detect abuse.

These services process data under their own policies.

Your choices

In BetIntel, open Help & Privacy (the ? on Matches) to turn match tips and reminders off; the same page explains how Scout answers. You can turn all notifications off in iOS Settings.

You can delete local records in the app or by removing the app. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

You may contact Elviont Technologies to ask privacy questions or request help with data-related concerns.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of your information, ask us to restrict or stop processing it, receive it in a portable form, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Email us at the address below.

You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or the authority where you live.
