How AleaLens handles alerts, subscriptions, and public market data.

AleaLens is an iOS app for organizing public market-research signals. The app does not require an AleaLens account and does not send personal profile data, contacts, location, photos, microphone, camera, or address book data to a developer server.
The app stores a small amount of preference state on your device, including language selection, in-app alert baseline state, and public post IDs that have already triggered an in-app alert.
If you enable remote push alerts, the app sends an APNs device token, alert language, app version, build number, and notification enabled state to the AleaLens push server.
On-device preference data is used to show the right language and avoid duplicate alerts. Push token data is used only to deliver new Serenity post alerts to that device. StoreKit subscription status is used only to unlock AleaLens Plus and restore purchases.
Preference data is stored on device with iOS UserDefaults. The push server stores only what is needed to send alerts and disables the token when alerts are disabled, subscription access is inactive, or APNs reports that the token is no longer valid.
Subscriptions, billing, refunds, trial eligibility, and payment information are handled by Apple. AleaLens does not receive your card number or Apple ID password.
The app makes network requests to public data sources, including GitHub Raw, Yahoo Finance, Nasdaq, Stooq, and X links that you choose to open. Those services may receive standard request information, such as IP address and request headers, and process it under their own policies.
You can turn off notifications in iOS Settings and delete the app to remove local app data from the device. AleaLens does not include advertising SDKs, does not use App Tracking Transparency tracking, does not sell personal data, and does not combine in-app data with other companies' data for targeted advertising.
